The Box

Owen got a new carseat (& some new diapers) & the best part was the box. He & daddy (& Boo) have been having a ton of fun playing in it!

My Poor Sick Boy!

Poor Owen hasn't been able to catch a break lately. Two weeks ago he had a pneumonia & was very sick for a few days. A week ago he caught a nasty stomach bug & couldn't keep anything down. He ended up in the brand new pedi ED on Sunday afternoon b/c we were worried about how lethargic he was & how little he was able to eat & drink. He was dehydrated, so they gave him IV fluids & my beloved Zofran. He also had an EI, so they gave him antibiotics through his IV for that. He did perk up a bit after that & has gradually gotten better each day. However, he still isn't himself & is battling some lingering GI issues. We are waiting the results of some tests to rule everything in & out.

The only upside to his being sick is that he is such a snuggle bug!

Sledding

Owen tried sledding for the first time on Sunday. He doesn't like being cold (can't blame him there!) & doesn't appear to be a big fan of the snow b/c it is so hard for him to walk in it. But, once he started sledding he had fun.

Piano Man

We always knew that Owen loved music & was very musical. But when he found the piano at Great-Grandma's, we couldn't tear him away!

The Strong Musuem of Play

Our favorite place to go when we are in NY is the Strong Musuem of Play. They have so many neat exhibits & things to try. We made a special point to go this time, b/c there was a limited time Curious George exhibit & Owen is currently OBSESSED with Curious George!

NY Christmas

Christmas in NY with (some) of my family. It was great to see everyone, especially my cousin Ryan who was able to make a last minute trip home from Navy basic training.
