Patriots Practice

We postponed our trip to Lake George b/c of the forecast. Instead, while I was working Steve & his friend Chris took Owen to the Patriot's training camp. They all had fun & got to see Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Teddy Bruschi & the rest of the team.

A Busy Weekend

What a busy few days! Steve had Friday off, so we spent the day at the lake w/ Grandma & Grampy. Owen enjoyed the boat & loved playing at the sandbar & swimming in the lake.

Saturday we went to a housewarming party for Leigh & Gordon's new house. Owen had fun entertaining everyone & playing w/ Kaylie.

Sunday we went to a Fisher Cats game w/ Steve's friends Matt & Elgin. Despite being fussy most of the weekend, Owen was very well behaved at the game & made it all 9 innings!

We are glad it is Monday & we can relax. Now if the heat & humidity would go away!

Surgery Day

Owen had surgery for his blocked tear ducts this morning (actually, they just had to make the openings larger). He did really well with not eating & waiting 2 hours once we arrived at the hospital. The actual procedure was very quick. And, of course, Owen woke up much quicker than they predicted. He was unhappy at first, but did really well in recovery & was able to come home after only an hour. He is sleeping now & I am sure we will be very excited to eat when he wakes up. He was adorable in his hospital johnny & was a huge hit w/ all of the nurses in pre-op & recovery. He was getting so much attention from them I felt bad for all the other patients!

An Unexpected Visitor

We had a brief, unexpected visit from Uncle Chris yesterday. He was in town for a few hours & got to play with Owen. He is already teaching him about "sweet dew of the gods".

We went to Mack's for ice cream (sorbet for Owen). Just like Uncle Chris, Owen enjoyed the ducks & geese.

Visting w/ Grandma & Grandpa

We had a nice long-weekend visit w/ Grandma & Grandpa! Sunday Owen went to his first baseball game. He was a hit, as always, & did really well. He made it till the 8th inning & the Fisher Cats won! Yesterday we did some shopping & more swimming in the hotel pool.

Only a few more weeks until we see Grandma & Grandpa (& lots of other family) in NY!

Happy 4th of July!

Yesterday we went to the parade & festival in Merrimack. Owen wasn't quite sure how he felt aout all of the noise, but he had fun.

Today Grandma & Grandpa arrived for a visit!
