Happy Birthday Jon & Chris!

Yesterday was Jon & Chris' birthday. It is hard to believe that 6 short years ago they were born weighing just over 2 lbs each! You would never know it now, they are such active & happy boys. They got lots of fun presents (tons of Star Wars) & had a very yummy car cake.

Being a Baby

Last night I got out some of Owen's old baby things for Sarah to borrow for baby John. When Owen saw them this morning, he wanted to use them all & be a baby again. He & George loved sitting in the Bumbo.

We actually got to see John awake for a little while today, which was a nice treat. He is such a good baby & so cuddly!

Dressing Himself

Tuesday morning Owen picked out all of his own clothes & put them on by himself too (with a little help with the snaps). His pants were backward, but other than that he did a pretty good job! It wouldn't be my first choice of outfits, but it worked & he was so proud of himself. He wore his boots all day to complete the look.

George Takes a Ride

Owen loves to ride his car & his bike. He also loves all of his Georges (all monkies are George to him). This morning the Georges got to go for a ride of their own.

Later in the morning we had a fun playdate with some old friends & some new babies. It was fun to see Jude, Ryan, Jakob & Caroline (& their mommies) again. And we loved seeing & holding the new babies, Maddie & John!

Nick's Baptism

Yesterday was cousin Nick Pasquale's baptism, at the same church we were married at. Pasquale was Grampy's name in Italian, so we all felt a special connection & presence. Nick is only 7 weeks old & was pefect for the baptism & the beautiful reception after.

Jack's Birthday Party!

Jack is Owen's best friend at daycare & today was his birthday party. Despite seeing Jack & Dylan every day, Owen was very shy at first. Eventually, he warmed up & had fun playing w/ his friends. He also enjoyed checking out all of Jack's toys.

Yummy, Batter!

Last night Owen & I made "safe" cupcakes for all of the upcoming parties he has to attend. He loved eating the batter!

Working Hard

Yesterday Owen helped Daddy do some of his homework. Owen had a blast, daddy not so much.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a nice Valentine's Day lunch at Bugaboo Creek. Owen enjoyed some very yummy sweet potato fries with cinammon sugar & we had yummy lunch combos. Later, daddy tried to make Owen a special desert of pudding. But, pudding doesn't seem to set very well with rice milk. And Owen didn't seem to like his chocolate soup.

Owen was all about silly faces & silly noises when eating dinner last night.

Our Little Reader

Owen loves to read (Grandma is so proud!). A recent favorite is "Little Blue Truck" & he now reads it himself & makes most of the noises.
