Owen got an early Christmas present from Aunt Mo & Alex. He is fascinated with the musical, moving Santa (& his snow pants, which he didn't want to take off).
Like most of southern NH, we were hit pretty hard by the ice storm. Fortunately, we have a gas fireplace & town water, so we had heat & water. And we were very, very lucky & got our power back on Saturday!!
Daddy has had a rough few weeks & has quite the combo of things wrong w/ him. Owen has been giving him lots of cuddles & helping to take great care of him!
I went to Sarah's baby shower this afternoon, so Owen, daddy, Auntie Cheri & Uncle Brian went to a local alpaca farm for an open house. I am so jealous, I love alpacas! Owen was a little nervous to feed them at first, but warmed up quickly & didn't want to leave. The woman who owned the farm was very friendly & passionate. She even gave Steve some alpaca wool to bring home to me to see if I am allergic to it (apparently most people who are allergic to wool aren't allergic to alapaca wool). Uncle Brian bought some alpaca wool socks to keep his feet toasty warm this winter.
It looks like a fun day & I hope to go back with them sometime,
I am blessed to be the mother of an amazing 5 year old boy, Owen. He has a whole host of medical issues, many of which remain unsolved. However, he is bright, adorable & hilarious. He will be starting kindergarten in the fall and we are both excited and nervous.
I work with students with autism. It is incredibly challenging and incredibly rewarding.
We try to bring some crafts & some laughs to every day.
